Aprajita Abhay Mishra joined Universal Legal, the Chennai team, in December 2020.

With an overall practice of more than 5 years, Aprajita is a qualified company secretary having significant exposure in ensuring secretarial compliances under Companies Act, 2013 by both Indian and foreign held companies. She also has hands-on experience in handling matters in relation to SEBI Listing and FEMA compliances, including on compliances applicable to NBFCs.

Among other things, Aprajita has assisted in the incorporation of various entities, including wholly-owned foreign subsidiaries, public companies, LLPs; assisted in conducting secretarial due diligence for private equity transactions, Merger & Acquisition and Prevention of Money Laundering.

Prior to Universal Legal, she has worked with a legal practicing firm with operations across the globe, and business advisors and chartered accountants.

She is an Associate Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. In addition, she has also completed LL.B from Mewar University, Chittorgarh and M.Com from Gorakhpur University.
