Urvi Gala has been with the Firm since July 2019.

She is a member of the Transactional Practice Team. She has assisted and advised various domestic and offshore entities including companies, funds, investment banks and financial institutions in respect of their investments in the nature of venture capital investments, private equity investments, merger and acquisitions and joint ventures in India. While assisting on these investments, she has been extensively involved in due diligences, structuring, advising on regulatory compliances and documentation. Through the life span of such investment transactions, she has extensively worked for clients who hail from e-commerce, real estate, education, ed-tech, fin-tech, hospitality, pharma, banking and finance, information technology enabled services, drone, FMCG, manufacturing sectors.

She has also advised on company incorporation related formalities, structuring of corporate entities, FEMA compliances and drafting of corporate commercial agreements like technology license agreement, IP assignment agreement, service agreements, etc.

She also holds a graduate degree in law (B.A. LL.B (Hons.)) from Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU – Raipur) with specialization in corporate law and criminal law. She has been amongst the top rank holders through her five years of undergraduate legal education and secured 2 gold medals for her overall performance in employment and HR laws and jurisprudence.
