Bheru Choudhary has been with the Firm since 2004.

He is a graduate in Commerce and received his Bachelor’s degree in Law in 1990 and qualified as a Solicitor (stood first in the exam) from the Bombay Incorporated Law Society in 1992. Thereafter, he qualified as a Solicitor from the Law Society of England & Wales in 1994 to practice law in the Supreme Court of England & Wales and Supreme Court of Hong Kong.

His expertise lies in real estate (including Slum Redevelopment Project), Media and Entertainment, Corporate and Commercial laws, Litigation and Arbitration. He advises several film producers and distributors on issues arising in the entertainment industry as also leading film celebrities in India on diverse contractual documentation and agreements and advising on issues such as defamation.

He advises leading and reputed actors in the Bollywood Film Industry in relation to diverse License Agreements and in relation to performance in various concerts, attending press conferences and giving interviews in print media, radio and internet media. He also advises such actors and artistes in relation to diverse contracts and transactions with leading brands for modelling, advertisement, endorsement and promotion of products besides advising them on diverse contracts for the performance of services by them all over the world organized by media, entertainment and event management companies and also for their appearances and performances in events/shows for telecast on TV channels.

He also advises clients on transfer of property matters (by way of sale/purchase, mortgage, lease, exchange and gift) and transfer of development rights, and structuring, drafting and negotiating land development documentation including inter alia on the entire gamut of laws, regulations and policies including Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, Town and Country Planning laws, Land Acquisition laws, Urban Land Ceiling Act, Municipal Laws, laws relating to land Revenue, laws relating to Agricultural Land, Development Control Regulations. He advises project developers on raising funds from reputed financial institutions and banks including by way of undertaking projects in joint venture.

Prior to his current practice, Bheru was a partner with Mahimtura & Co., Mumbai.
