Aditya Bimal Mehta, has been associated with the Ahmedabad office since January 2016.
He heads the Litigation Department and is handling Litigation matters at the Ahmedabad office of Universal Legal. He handles various complex and contentious Civil and Commercial Litigation cases before various Courts in and around Ahmedabad and also specializes in initiating and conducting Arbitration proceedings. He also handles various Criminal Proceedings pertaining to White Collar Crimes/Frauds and Economic Offenses.
He has been regularly representing various clients since 2007, before Hon’ble The Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble High Court of Gujarat, City Civil and Sessions Court at Ahmedabad, District Courts, Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), Public Works Contracts Disputes Arbitration Tribunal, Ahmedabad, Consumer Courts and Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission, Gandhinagar (GERC).
He holds a graduate degree in Legal Science and a graduate degree in Law from Government Law College, Mumbai (Mumbai University).
He is currently enrolled with the Gujarat Bar Association and is eligible to practice in the Gujarat High Court and various lower courts across the State of Gujarat.
