Jitesh Anand has been with ICUL since June, 2018.
He is a member of the Investment Funds and Financial Services Team focusing on assisting and advising domestic and foreign clients on setting up of investment funds and entering into business transactions. His primary focus has been on the complete structuring and formation of (a) various investment funds, (b) portfolio management services and (c) investment advisory services for fund managers, amongst others. He has assisted various fund managers in: (a) negotiating and drafting private placement memorandums, subscription agreements, investment management agreements and other associated fund documents; (b) raising capital from various institutional investors and HNIs; (c) setting up offshore funds in various jurisdictions including Ireland, Mauritius, Delaware, Cayman Islands and GIFT city.
He also advises clients on drafting of employment contracts, license agreements and on other regulatory compliances.
Jitesh holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad and has graduated with Distinction in Banking and Finance, Administrative Law, Law & Poverty and Family Law-I amongst other subjects. He was a founding member of the Tech Law Forum Blog at NALSAR and has served on its editorial board.
P.S.: A passionate sportsperson, Jitesh loves to play badminton, table tennis and football in his leisure time. He feels strongly about the right to privacy and free speech. His areas of interest include writing, decoding technology and playing the drums.
