Shreya Deora embarked on her legal career by joining the Chennai office in 2013.

She is a key member of the transactional team focusing on assisting and advising domestic and foreign clients on private equity investments and acquisitions in India. Her contribution on such transactions ranges from leading and managing teams that conduct due diligences as well as negotiating of transaction documents and providing full client assistance until the closure of the transaction and even thereafter.

Besides being a part of the transactional team, Shreya Deora also the key contact at the Chennai office to a number of local companies in the technology and media and entertainment space aiding and advising them with the legal and regulatory requirements for their business on a day-to-day basis. She was a part of the team that spear headed the Firm’s drive to implement policies for protection of women’s rights, including prevention of sexual harassment.

She has graduated from the Government Law College, Mumbai with a degree in Business Law Honours and has a Diploma in Intellectual Property from the Federation of India Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
