Ramya D. Kumar has been with the Firm since August, 2013.
She specializes in Media and Entertainment, Real Estate, Litigation and Arbitration. She advises film producers and celebrities in the Media and Entertainment industry in all respects including documentation relating to endorsements, book publishing, film contracts, performance of services, etc. She is also involved in property transactions inter alia relating to development / joint development projects, transfer of property matters. She advises clients on litigation and arbitration matters and handles litigation matters mainly in the Bombay High Court and Bombay City Civil Court and arbitration matters at Mumbai.
She has completed her bachelors in law from ILS Law College, Pune and her Masters in Business Laws (DED) from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. She holds a Diploma in Corporate Laws from ILS Law College, Pune and Diploma in Business Laws from Asian School of Cyber Laws, Pune. She has secured First Class throughout her five years at ILS Law College, Pune and was also a merit ranker in Pune University.
She has completed her article-ship and is currently pursuing her Solicitor’s examination.

P.S.: If not for a champion lawyer, Ramya would have held a degree in fine arts, since she is a professional Bharatanatyam Dancer and has an experience of 17 years in the said field of dance.
