Ramesh T, has been associated with Bangalore office since April 2006 and he was promoted as a partner as on 1st January, 2010.
Ramesh majorly works on property matters involving drafting and conveyance of Agreements, Sale Deeds, Gift Deeds. Partition Deeds, drafting of Letter of Intent, Lease Deeds, Joint Development Agreements, Reports on Title, conducting Due Diligence on Agriculture, Industrial, Commercial and Residential properties and Title investigation and registration formalities, including all liaisoning before the Government Authorities and obtaining necessary orders.
His other areas of practice are Litigation and Labour Laws, having extensive knowledge on litigation matters involving Civil and Criminal Law, Contract Law, Company Law, Consumer Law, Labour Laws and Intellectual Property Rights Law, Mergers and Acquisitions transactions for major clients; He has also appeared in all Courts and Tribunals across Karnataka. He also extensively worked on matters relating to labour compliances in India and handles the Indian Immigration formalities for some multinational concerns.
Prior to joining Universal Legal, Ramesh has represented and assisted in major litigations involving Recovery proceedings before the Debts Recovery Tribunal and provided legal opinions, title clearance with regard to sanctioning of Housing Loan, Industrial Loan, Mortgage Loan, Construction Loan, Deposit of Title deeds, etc., for State Bank of India, State Bank of Hyderabad, Syndicate Bank, The Karur Vysya Bank Ltd. and Karnataka Vikasa Grameena Bank.
He holds a graduate degree in Arts from Bangalore University, a graduate degree in Law from Bangalore University and Post Graduation Diploma in Industrial Relations & Personal Management from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore.
