Anu D’rose Prabhu joined the Chennai office in 2017.
She brings with her vast experience and in-depth knowledge in real estate legal practise and through her experience has advised several clients ranging from real estate developers and family units to large multinational companies in the occupation and set up of business in real estate spaces in Tamil Nadu. She works closely with them through the process of real estate acquisition right from conducting title verification, estimating, assessing and mitigating risks to title ownership upon acquisition, drafting, negotiation, finalisation of registration of title transfer documents, construction and maintenance arrangements and power transfers. She also assists clients with facilitating registrations at the various local statutory authorities and ensures completion of all statutory formalities. She also guides the litigation team on civil litigation matters including real estate litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked with Mr. K. Vaitheeswaran, Advocate and Fox Mandal and Associates, having worked in the real estate legal space since 2007.
She holds a B.A. B.L from the University of Madras, graduating in 2000.

P.S.: Anu is a composed and patient person, with astute interest in dancing, Bharathanaytam in particular, with more than 5 years of learning in the classical art form. She also has a keen interest in travel and music, being an ardent Ilayaraja fan!
