Akshita Ummat has been with the Firm since 2015.
Akshita Ummat is an Associate at Universal Legal–Delhi. Presently, Akshita Ummat is actively involved in civil/criminal litigation matters, making regular appearances before various Courts/Tribunals. She advises her clients on Contractual-Commercial laws, Labour issues, Real Estate, Due Diligence on property and title investigations. She has undertaken the trademark filing of various trademarks and domain names for reputed companies.
Akshita Ummat completed her law degree from the CCS University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India and was a Gold Medalist of the University. She has also successfully completed her LL.M. (Corporate Laws) from GGSIP University (School of Law and Legal Studies) with merits. She has also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in International law and Diplomacy from The Indian Society of International Law (ISIL), New Delhi. During her LL.M course she interned with the various Government organizations. As a law student, Akshita Ummat participated in the Intra Law College Debate Competitions, Moot Court Competition and case presentations at the college level.
